RME2020 Course Cancellation

The 2020 Regenerative Medicine Essential (RME) Course Organizing Committee recognizes the rising concern over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and the safety and health of all attending is our main concern. In the past week we have reached out to many of the people and organizations for whom the field is so important and have been following recommendations of the World Health Organization, the U.S. Center for Disease Control as well as those of local health authorities in Winston-Salem and North Carolina.

The dedication and outpouring of support for this annual event has weighed significantly on us as we considered all options, but the escalation of coronavirus worldwide has led us to the decision to CANCEL RME 2020 and focus on having a great event next year in 2021.

While it is disappointing to terminate a meeting that promised to be exceptional, the RME organizers thoughtfully considered all the factors essential to conduct a safe and successful annual course. For six consecutive years, we have had the privilege of convening prominent scientists, engineers, clinicians and other pioneers in the field of regenerative medicine spanning academic, industry and government sectors, with the goal to deliver a unique, interactive educational forum for our attendees. This privilege comes with a great responsibility to all of our participants and the field.

It is our hope to see you all in 2021. Please stay safe and healthy in the interim and reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
